After testing a wide variety of bidet attachments, the Omigo Element+ Bidet Attachment takes the cake, in our opinion. For starters, we love that it’s super easy to install—it took us just 10 minutes and had simple instructions anyone could follow, with no need to bring in an outside plumber. We also like that this non-electric bidet attachment doesn’t require electrical configuration.

When it comes to features, this Omigo bidet attachment is both simple to use and offers a good mix of controls and settings. We like that it’s equipped with two knobs that can be adjusted to control the water pressure, so whether you prefer a strong or light spray, you’re covered. Plus, if you’re interested in a warm water bidet attachment, then this will be your new best friend. As long as your toilet bowl is in close proximity to the sink, you can access warm water for ideal comfort and relaxation. We wish there was a bit more flexibility here, but it’s a small drawback.

Ultimately, we found the bidet attachment’s two nozzles do a great job at cleaning your entire bottom from back to front, making it nicely effective. It’s also renter-friendly, which means you can add it to a temporary space like an apartment or dorm room without worrying about potential damage. Lastly, it’s a good value, allowing you to get the benefits of a bidet without having to drop triple digits for one that delivers on quality and performance.

The bidets we tested ranged anywhere from $27 to $743 in price, covering a pretty wide range in both investment and value. However, we found that cheaper bidet attachments tended to perform solidly, proving you don’t have to spend a lot for functionality and effectiveness—and we particularly liked the Bio Bidet by Bemis. At under $50, this bidet attachment is best suited for those looking for something that’s easy to install and adjustable. 

Though it doesn’t have the bells and whistles of more expensive bidet attachments, it gets the job done with a powerful nozzle and various water pressure options, including regular and front wash options. We liked its performance and found its cleaning power effective, thanks to the ability to choose your preferred water pressure. Although it doesn’t have a warm water option, we found it’s still tolerable for daily use (even on chilly days). 

While we love the value offered by this bidet attachment, note that it’s not the most attractive option on our list. It’s a bit unsightly and since it can only be positioned on one side of the toilet bowl it makes it harder to find a way to cover it. If the appearance doesn’t bother you, then this is a suitable budget-friendly bidet attachment for a beginner.

A handheld bidet attachment is ideal for anyone who wants more control over the spray direction and pressure, and in our testing we loved the intuitive, easy-to-use design of Brondell’s CleanSpa Handheld Bidet. Made from stainless steel, this attachment features a spiral hose that can extend to easily get hard-to-reach angles and areas. We found it easy to use from any position, and we particularly liked the inclusion of a spring-loaded lever that  controls the water flow with a press and release. While the water’s flow will stop when your finger is off the trigger, you can opt to switch the T-valve lever closed to prevent any potential leakage (although we didn’t experience that in our testing). 

This under-$100 bidet attachment delivers some handy features and decent water pressure. We also like that it doesn’t require any electricity or batteries, which makes using it in any bathroom a breeze. While you won’t get heated water or a dryer included, you will get a durable attachment that’ll leave you feeling squeaky clean after a trip to the bathroom. It was more difficult to install; it took us over 35 minutes from start to finish, and it required the use of additional materials including a screwdriver. But once it was up and running, it delivered on its promises nicely.

For total flexibility and extra convenience, an adjustable bidet attachment can help provide optimal comfort and cleanliness each time you use the bathroom. While using the Luxe Bidet Neo 320 Plus Attachment, we loved that it provides full control over both the water temperature and pressure. On the side, a dial and a lever allow you to control the spray as well as the temperature, making for an adjustable and customized bidet experience. 

We also like the three different spray settings: a self-cleaner, regular wash, and “feminine wash” (a gentler spray). It does one heck of a job cleaning, too; we didn’t want to go back to toilet paper after using this attachment. In terms of the nozzle itself, it comes equipped with retractable dual nozzles, a self-cleaning mode, and a guard gate to protect from the dirty toilet water. 

While there are many favorable features here, there are some slight drawbacks. First, if you have a larger frame, you might notice the buttons sticking into your legs while using the bathroom, which can be annoying for prolonged use. Also, it’s a bit complicated to install, and if you don’t have access to a sink, then you won’t be able to access the warm water feature.

This handheld bidet attachment from Aquaus looks similar to a tool you’d see at the dentist with its hose extension and pointy tip. With two interchangeable heads, this attachment offers precise cleaning after using the bathroom without the unwanted mess thanks to its precise thumb controls. When it’s time to shut off, it has a safety shut off valve for extra protection just in case you forget or don’t do it tight enough. 

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room — it’s difficult to install. We found it took us over 45 minutes to get this assembled despite the clear instructions. After that was finished, it was smooth sailing. 

Although the brand advertises to have high water pressure, that wasn’t necessarily our experience. Although it wasn’t strong, it still was able to get the job done efficiently and only needed a bit of toilet paper to dry off afterwards.

If it’s your first time trying a bidet attachment, then TUSHY is the way to go. The brand advertises the product as being able to be set up in less than 8.5 minutes. Depending on how handy you are, this could either take less or more time — just be sure to follow the instructions. As for the attachment itself, the controls are super intuitive making it perfect for a first time user. There is one knob to adjust the water pressure and one toggle to adjust the spray angle. Plus, the nozzle is self-cleaning so you don’t have to worry about wiping it down after each use which can be a hassle. 

You’ll notice your rear feels cleaner than when you started and there’s very little excess water that needs to be dried off. That said, the toggle to adjust the nozzle isn’t that useful. We weren’t able to figure it out, but it didn’t really affect the function in our case. The best part? TUSHY has sales often so you can score a bidet attachment like this one for less than $100 whether that’s on the brand’s website or at Amazon.
