The Holiday Season Means...the Home Remodeling Mad Rush

Tuesday November 25, 2008
Kitchen Remodel

It's a moment of panic. Guests are coming for Thanksgiving/Christmas/Hanukkah/Other-Holiday-Celebration and...your house is a pit. Your guests look away in horror when they see your house, and they refuse to stay with you (sometimes a good thing, depending on how you feel about each other). The guest bathroom is a dump, the guest bedroom has been declared an EPA Superfund site. What to do?

Well, contractors are accustomed to getting these kinds of calls. You'll need to have already set it up with the contractor beforehand, but it is possible to start any number of home remodeling projects--fairly substantial projects, too--the first Monday after Thanksgiving, and have them completely finished before Christmas guests roll into town.
