All Your Drywall Tools for Under $125

Monday January 5, 2009
Drywall T-Square

You can pretty much knock off your drywall tool list for under $125. I'm fudging a little here, because I am going to assume that you already have a cordless drill in some shape or form. The drill pushes the price up another $75, minimum. But without that, it is possible to put together a full set of drywalling tools for around the $125 range.

The biggest area of expense is the drywall t-square. You can derive some comfort from knowing that this square (4 feet long) is useful for everything else in your house, not just drywall. The cheaper t-squares have a fixed, 90 degree angle head; pay a bit more and you can get a t-square with an adjustable head (not crucial).
