How to Grout Tile - Video

J.J. Burkart produced a fine video for About Home Renovations covering the ever-delicate project of grouting tile. Grouting tile is one of the last steps in laying down ceramic tile...so you need to make sure it looks right.

In the video, Burkart is seen smoothing the rubber float across the tile with one hand. In reality, using a rubber float is a back-breaking, wrist-aching procedure that often requires the assistance of the other hand. The reason is that it is difficult to hold the float at just the correct angle needed to swipe the grout off of the tile.
