Christoph Niemann today in The New York Times has a great photo essay called The Haunted Household. "Maintaining a home is an uphill battle," says Niemann. "For quite some time Iʼve suspected that little goblins are sabotaging my efforts." Which got me to thinking.
What are your home remodeling sins?
Mine: a towel rack I stuck up with construction glue, instead of that solid, time-tested way of using drywall mounts.
My defense: it's a guest bathroom and it will all get remodeled eventually.
Regrets: None! Until the moment it comes crashing down to the ground.
Pictures optional, but always appreciated. I couldn't work up a proper glower, so I opted for closing my eyes against the shame of it all.
