Or pretty darn close to 1:57. That's how convincing Zack Heene is when installing an over the range microwave.
Turns out, there isn't much to it. At long as you already have ducting and power, of course.
- Find wall studs.
- Lay down the microwave's paper template (your appliance will come with this).
- Cut through the indicated spots on the template.
- Cut up through the upper cabinet (that's where the ducting and power will go).
- Mount wall plate. This is a metal strip mounted horizontally which screws into studs.
- Mount the microwave on the plate. The hardest part, requiring a second set of hands.
- Connect ducting and power.
- Install grease filters.
