Is there any home remodeling topic that Black & Decker's "Complete" guides cannot cover? The latest is the impressive 3rd edition of The Complete Guide to Flooring.
Complete it is. I think you could start out with zero knowledge of flooring--perhaps not even knowing what a floor is--and work your way all the way through DIY installation.
That seems to be the intent of this guide: everything bound up in 270 pages and 750+ illustrations and a 50 minute DVD, with no need for anything else.
So, if you happen to be stuck on a desert island and want to install laminate flooring...this is the guide for you.
