What is Cement?

Definition: Cement is not concrete. Cement is the binder that holds together the aggregate materials (rock, etc.) that, with the addition of water, becomes concrete.
Pronunciation: SEE-ment
Also Known As: concrete (erroneously)
Examples:
The workman added cement to the mixture to make concrete.
