It's funny, but when you think "accent wall" you tend to think of fiery orange or lipstick reds blazing away. But who said that accent walls need to be red or orange?

The main thing is that the accent wall's color must be bold and vibrant. Blues and greens can be vibrant, too, in their own way. Remember that paint will look a little bit darker after it has had time to dry.

The bed pillow ties in with the accent color, but the most significant thing is the chocolate-brown molding around the accent. This molding helps the accent color "pop out" even more, and it helps to tie everything in with the bed.
