How to Install a Garbage Disposal

Affix Disposal to Sink

Insert lower mounting ring around neck of garbage disposal. Curled ends of the ring should be pointing downward.

Raise disposal into position so that it is pressing firmly against the bottom of the sink sleeve. Engage lower mounting ring with upper mounting ring by turning clockwise. Turn clockwise as far as possible. It may be necessary to tap curled ends of lower mounting ring lightly to engage ring.
