Tool Profile: Caulking Gun

By Lee Wallender, About.com

Most caulk comes in tubes that can be used only in a caulking gun. These guns are made of metal and most are fairly inexpensive.

Since caulking can be a messy project, some guns claim to be dripless and generally these claims are true. The dripless guns are only slightly more expensive than the non-dripless version. It is well worth paying this extra cost.
