Definition: Windows for additions or other new structures. These windows may also be used if existing house involves such major renovations that walls are being stripped down to the studs. These windows come in set sizes only and are widely available off the rack at home improvement stores. They come in vinyl or wood.

The new construction window is not to be confused with the replacement window.
