Describe Your Bathtub Refinishing Experience
My wife found these guys, so I assumed she found them through a good reference like most of the companies we have used. We hired them to reglaze our tub, resurface the tile floor and counter. Contract was for 5 years against fading and peeling. The contract is dated 10/25/11.
They were sloppy, missed spots, left behind masking tape, spills and overspray.
Who Was the Refinisher? What Did They Do Wrong/Right?

After 3 months the counter began to flake. Then the glaze on the tub has started to peel. I got Mr Albanese on his cell and we made an appointment for him to come over on 1/23/12 which was on a Monday.
I called the Friday before to confirm and I got voicemail. No call back.
Not a good sign. Yesterday, Monday, no show. I called and left a voice mail, I called the other number and that phone does not take voice mail.
After Googling this outfit I found other people with the same story.
The Better Business Bureau has tried to contact them about complaints and AM Reglazing has not responded. Needless to say they are not accredited by them. I did not get their address, but they operate in New Jersey.
Lessons Learned
- Get a mailing address
- check that they are licensed
- go on line for reviews
- check with the BBB for any complaints
- go through Sears or Home Depot like we have done in the past.
